Arrest Record For Nick Hogan
From WhatRumors: The Celebrity Gossip Wiki
Nick Hogan, Nick Hogan Bollea, was first arrested on November 11, 2007 for charges stemming from his August 26, 2007 car accident. He turned himself in to the Clearwater, Florida police after he learned he was being charged as an adult despite being under the age of 18. He was charged with reckless driving involving serious bodily injury, using a motor vehicle in commission of a felony, being a driver under 21 while operating a vehicle with a breath-alcohol level of .02% or higher and having illegal window tinting.
Hogan family spokesman Adam Handelsman released this written statement to the media in hopes to counter reports that Nick's excessive speeding was the cause of the accident:

Trial and Sentencing
Nick's trial began on May 9, 2008 absolutely flanked by the media and cameras inside the courthouse were broadcasting the proceedings on the internet. During the trial, all the members of the Hogan family testified on Nick's behalf. They all spoke of how important John Graziano is to their family and how Nick should be given leniency. Graziano's family, who sat in the courthouse across the way from the Hogan family, asked that Nick at least be sentenced to serve 1 year in the slammer. Nick threw himself on the mercy of the judge after entering a plea of no contest. He then apologized, for the first time according to some, to the Grazianos for the accident and swore he hadn't driven since the night of the accident. But after seeing a graphic video of Graziano right after the accident, hearing from Graziano's family about his condition, and learning that Nick's license plate COEHSP stands for "Capable of Eluding High Speed Pursuit"; there was little sympathy to be had for Nick.
The judge had a little mercy for the youngest Hogan and sentenced him to 8 months behind bars, five years probation in which he is to serve 500 hours of community service, and a three-year suspension of his driver's license. His sentence began immediately and Nick was asked to take off his tie before he was cuffed then removed from the courtroom.
Life Behind Bars
TMZ and other media outlets obtained recordings made of Nick speaking to his mother and father not long after his sentence began. In some recordings, you can hear Nick crying to his parents about how small his cell is. On another, his father Hulk Hogan says "God laid some heavy s**t on him because of things that he was into" when speaking about John Graziano. Nick also complained about his mother ignoring him and asks his father to set up a reality show deal for when Nick gets out of jail.
Hulk Hogan decided to sue the Pinellas County Jail because the recordings were released. The representatives for the jail have stated that all inmates are aware they are being recorded and the recordings were released to the media under a public records request. After a few of these tapes were made public, Nick and his family now speak to each other in a code they made up.
Nick has unsuccessfully tried to have his sentence commuted to house arrest. He also petitioned to have his jailhouse living conditions changed as he was taken into isolation from the day he arrived. This was because he was the only minor serving out a sentence in the adult facility. Nick's lawyers claimed this was cruel punishment. His first petitions were denied. He transferred out of his solitaire unit into a cell with 3 other juveniles and a television on June 5, 2008.
